His journey began when he studied at Brock University where he completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology Honours (BKin Honours).

About our Physiotherapist
Sulayma Hassan,
Registered Physiotherapist
“When you listen to what your body is telling you, pain becomes an ally to healing.”
Sulayma Hassan is a Registered Physiotherapist working out of The Greater Toronto Area. She graduated in 2008, and obtained her Physiotherapy education from Gulf Medical University, in U.A.E, and University of Toronto. She has previously worked as a personal trainer and life coach, and has a strong interest in promoting a holistic approach to healing with a sensitivity to cultural differences and goals. From her personal experience of recovering from a chronic pain syndrome, she strongly believes that healing is a personal journey. She bases her approach on building a good relationship with her clients to better understand their needs, and to help them achieve their goals by using a combination of evidence based treatments, with a focus on manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise, education, and mindfulness. She finds joy in her work and seeing her clients living a fulfilling life. In her free time Sulayma enjoys cooking, yoga, meditation, reading, painting, spending time with family and friends, traveling, taking care of her plants and being out in nature. She volunteers to mentor and educate future physiotherapists at the University of Toronto in preparation for their credentialing exams. She is registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists in Ontario, and a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Ontario Physiotherapy Association.

About our Massage Therapist
Charisse Manalili,
Registered Masage Therapist
Charisse is a graduate from Sutherland-Chan school of Massage Therapy and prior to this, completed a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at York University. Before pursuing a career in massage therapy, Charisse worked as a Kinesiologist, and it was her passion for fitness and building strong relationships with her clients that inspired her to work towards a more fulfilling path. Charisse understands that pain presents itself differently in everyone, therefore it is not guaranteed that one person’s treatment will produce the same results as another. It is this notion that has encouraged her to take courses and workshops such as neurofunctional acupuncture, cupping and fascial stretch therapy to be able to gain a better understanding of the human body as well as broaden her skills as a manual therapist to be able to provide effective and long-lasting results for her clients. Outside of work, Charisse enjoys going hiking, cooking, trying new DIY projects and sometimes repeating her favourite Netflix shows. If you know of any good shows, let her know! She is presently registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario as well as the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario.
